As a coach, I ask a lot of questions. As a person, I ask a lot of questions. That's just how I'm wired.
I'm curious and I love learning from other people. I am 99.2% extrovert so I am energized by interacting with others. And, while I have no problem sharing my experiences, interests, and opinions, it is remarkably difficult to write it out without sounding a bit self-centered.
Nonetheless, this is my first impression for many of you so here goes...
I am relentlessly positive.
Why?
Because the alternative sucks.
I choose to be happy. I choose to be energized. I choose to laugh. I choose to have fun. I choose to be awesome.
We have a choice. Sometimes it's harder than other times but we always have a choice. I choose positivity, optimism, joy. I really does make life a helluva lot better

My ability to bring levity and fun into just about everything has been a hallmark of my success. Having a true zest for life has been a huge attractor of influential people an opportunities.
It really is crazy how like attracts like.
I want to be around inspirational, aspirational, highly-motivated, successful and fulfilled high-performers so...I sure as hell better show up that way as well!
We get so hung up on the obstacles rather than the opportunities. When you accept where you are, know where you want to go, and clearly identify what YOU can do to get there...what is truly within YOUR control...and then take massive action, your life will propel forward.
Here's my MOJO Theory
There are two things we need in life: MOMENTUM & JOY.
When we have momentum the ride get's easier and more fun. We fly around, over, and through obstacles. We navigate more easily and can stay focused what's ahead. Others begin to join
because they want to be a part of whatever we're doing and wherever we are going. Momentum creates excitement, engagement, and propels us and those around us towards awesomeness.
Life is too short not to be living with joy. That feeling of great pleasure and profound happiness needs to be a central tenet in your life. We get comfortable. We get content. We get complacent. We lose our zest for life. Figure out what brings you joy and start working like hell to ensure you have it in your life.
Momentum creates joy. Joy creates momentum.
That's the MOJO cycle of awesomeness.

I work with high-performers who are stuck in suck, or maybe have lost momentum for one reason or another. Either way, my goal is to propel you back to the top of your game...actually even higher!
I can help you and/or your business get the traction and the perspective you need to make some serious, positive shifts.
I will push you.
I will challenge you.
I will hold you accountable.
The greatest athletes have coaches throughout their careers and yet we leave so much of our professional success to chance.
Hire a coach.
Even if it's not me. Hire a damn coach.
It will be the best investment you can make to move yourself towards levels of success and fulfillment you've only imagined.
I bring a light-hearted, hard-charging approach to coaching. That has been my key to success as an entrepreneur, leader, husband, father, and friend. It has served me well in creating multiple successful businesses, building multi-million dollar service lines, bouncing back from a crushing head-on collision, and charging through cancer.
Positivity, optimism, and enthusiasm...coupled with a deep desire to serve and propel others toward their best selves; all while having a ridiculous amount of fun is truly my secret sauce.
I've been on a wild, amazing ride.
After graduating from PT school in 1999, I moved to Hawaii and cut my teeth working with Paniolos (Hawaiian cowboys), surfers, golfers, and triathletes. While living there, I jumped into triathlon head first and had the amazing opportunities of racing both the 2000 Ironman and 2001 Xterra World Champions

While living there, I jumped into triathlon head first and had the amazing opportunities of racing both the 2000 Ironman and 2001 Xterra World Championships.
Then, on a training ride one day, a woman rode by the opposite direction and something told me to turn around and chase her down. That was a good impulse to follow. 13 weeks later Natalie and I were engaged and married a year after.
We then moved to Arcadia, CA where the family doubled with the addition of our identical twins, Kai and Koa. I helped start up and lead a medically-based fitness center and then I opened up my first business, The Physical Edge - Performance Driven Physical Therapy & Fitness.
Yearning to raise our kids in the mountains, we sold the business and landed in Tahoe in 2009.
My desire for personal growth and leadership has led me on a remarkable journey over the last decade. I've served in numerous leadership roles throughout the healthcare industry, served as president and/or chair of numerous community organizations, started/built/sold an event company, somehow wound up as Mayor of South Lake Tahoe during the height of the COVID pandemic, started another PT & Performance Training center - PT Revolution, and continued to coach individuals and business on high performance.
This story almost ended in 2016 when I was in a head-on car accident. While both my legs were crushed, my spirit wasn't. I was stoked to still be in the game. In fact, I continued my campaign for City Council from my wheelchair and was elected 2 months later.
The accident and the lack of mobility gave me new insights on life - gaining new perspectives and appreciation for empathy, patience, and just...being.
Two years later, I got hit with another blow - a very rare and aggressive form of malignant melanoma. Once again though, my bad luck was lined with good luck. The surgery successfully removed the cancer before it metastasized and I was still in the game.
When I'm not working (which I actually love to do!), I can be found biking, paddling, skiing, or drinking wine (actually, you may find me drinking wine while doing any and all of the above). Natalie and I are now empty nesters, love to travel, and are arch rivals to one another at Scrabble and cards.
Thing 1, Kai, is at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City studying History and Thing 2, Koa, is at Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo studying Automotive Technology.
